Building towards a radically healthier future
What We Do
We strive to create living spaces that provoke profound positive shifts in health
We’re building towards a radically healthier future where a house is more than a home. It’s a sanctuary. The place you come to unwind, energise and reconnect. A place you can just be. That’s why, using our evidence-based scorecard approach, we’re striving to create living spaces that bring balance back to busy lives.
Our progressive designs seek to combine the latest neuroscientific research in areas like air quality, natural light and sleep, with observations of how people use spaces. As we create, we add incremental enhancements throughout the space, calibrated to amplify a sense of wellbeing.
These calculated enhancements add up to create spaces that profoundly change the way people feel. They’re more than spaces to co-exist in. They redefine what a home can be. Spaces that are not only smarter and more integrated, but resonate on a deeper, more human level. Places that make us feel at home.
Humans need more than the basics to thrive. We are not made to live in little boxes. In everything we create, we consider what people truly need to feel and live well. From post-completion air quality tests to specifying light bulb temperatures to align with the natural body clock, we fulfil unspoken needs through invisible enhancements calibrated to promote a sense of physical and mental wellbeing. We consider the impact that natural light, wall colours and tactility of materials can have on peace of mind, and we know that proximity to green spaces and community resources can contribute positively to mental health, further informing design decisions.
We aren’t just creating spaces. We’re creating a more positive future. And to do that, we need more developers to build homes that are designed around improving health and wellbeing. That’s why we will be looking to share our knowledge as we develop and raise the standards across the industry as we raise our own. Always open to new ideas, we’re creating the momentum for positive change.
Wellbeing can feel a bit woo-woo. Not to us. We leaned on research findings in the fields of neuroscience, psychology and the built environment to develop an 100-point scoring system that measures the health and wellbeing performance of our developments. Coupled with use of safer, healthier low VOC materials for finishes and smart technology, we make subtle, incremental enhancements that can change how people live. Everything we do is rational and evidence-based, nudging people towards more positive behaviours.
